What is your role at MAC?
I’m joining as a Senior Engineer working mainly on the FPGA side of projects
What were you doing before joining the MAC team?
Before I joined MAC I was working at AccelerComm on forward error correction IP
What do you enjoy about working at MAC?
So far I’m enjoying the variety and challenge in the work
What is your specialist area of expertise?
Right now I’d say I’m a specialist in SystemVerilog and LDPC codes but I’m hoping to broaden that!
What does your job look like on a day-to-day basis?
Generally a mix of designing and simulating code
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I’m a keen cyclist and indoor rock climber
What is your favourite book or movie?
My favourite book is The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
What is your favourite meal?
My favourite meal is enchiladas (or any Mexican food really 🌯 !)
Tell us one thing your colleagues would be surprised to learn about you?
I think my colleagues would be surprised that since I was last at MAC I’ve gotten married!
