Project MONOTAS (MObile Network Optimisation Through Advanced Simulation) is a £1 million collaborative project funded as part of the Department of Trade and Industry's Technology Programme (November 2004 Competition) under the 'Pervasive Computing, including Networks and Sensors' technology priority area. The project commenced in December 2005 and will run for two years. A press release announcing the launch of the project can be found here.
