Training
CDMA
With the commercial deployment of UMTS systems, the need for a well developed CDMA knowledge within both network operators and manufacturing companies is an essential requirement. Multiple Access Communications Limited (MAC Ltd) has provided consulting services on CDMA for many years and, based on its knowledge and experience has developed an intensive, two-day training course on CDMA and UTRA. The course is designed for radio engineers who require a rapid and effective introduction to this complex subject area. The course will cover the fundamental principles of the CDMA technology and then rapidly progress to cover the details of the UTRA technologies (FDD and TDD) and the issues associated with planning and setting networks based on these systems.
Further details on CDMA Training may be obtained by downloading the brochure.
TETRA
Become an “informed customer.”
The principal aim of this course is to address the expected operational impacts of many issues which appear within the system, focussing on the radio side but also highlighting the interfaces within the whole TETRA network which have been specified and areas which are left to the individual vendors.
The two day course has been provided to a number of UK and non-UK clients and covers
- The TETRA network architecture and the services supported
- The TETRA radio interface
- Planning TETRA networks based on user requirements
- Radio propagation at TETRA frequencies
- Determining the capacity of a TETRA network
A detailed timetable and the modules covered may be obtained by downloading the course outline.
