Contract software tools design and development
As a consequence of developing and marketing our own software tools for over ten years, we have a proven ability to produce software to rigorous commercial standards. We design and develop a variety of software applications and tools for our customers, including configuration management tools, planning tools and engineering applications. Our skill set extends from the kernel algorithm design for localised and distributed processing, through to the user interface and database management for standalone and client server applications. Understanding the manner in which the final products will be used allows us to ensure that the applications meet our customers' requirements.
Contract hardware and software design and development
Capabilities include development of the DSP and FPGA designs for the base band processing sections of mobile test equipment, including UTRA and CDMA2000. We have also been commissioned to produce receiver designs for a variety of systems and applications, including the TD-SCDMA standard and switched beam antenna systems. We specialise in mobile handset signal processing and embedded software, and lately were engaged for the development, integration and testing of an EGPRS chipset. MAC Ltd brings a combination of comprehensive wireless systems knowledge and expertise in contract hardware and software development that enables us to work with our customers to generate a precise requirements specification, and then realise a complete sub-system design or product.
