next >Waypoint Capture
The plot shows CRIBS data capture software in waypoint capture mode. Waypoint capture is ideal for in building walk-test measurements and other situations where it is not possible to use GPS for location.
Waypoints are added to a building plan to show the user's current position. All operations, including zooming and panning of the display, are optimized for use with a tablet PC.

< previousnext >On-the-Fly Data Processing
CRIBS provides on-the-fly processing of RSSI and Quality-of-Service (QoS) data, and does not require a separate post-processing application.
This allows the display of RSSI data, estimated carrier-to-interference ratio (CIR) and location area code (LAC) during data capture. The data is saved in comma-delimited text (.csv) output files, that can be loaded directly into MAC Ltd's TRAMPS data analysis application for further analysis.

< previousnext >Following a Pre-Planned Route
CRIBS allows the user to define a pre-planned route, such as that to be followed when surveying a metro system. The pre-planned route can then be followed with a simple button click to indicate arrival at each stage.
